Levelwind Systems automatically spool your cable onto the winch drum. InterOcean Systems can design and manufacture a Levelwind system specific to your application.

Grooved Drums ensure proper spooling on the critical first layer of the drum. InterOcean Systems uses the Lebus® Grooving method for most of our winches, which uses a series of straight sections along with crossover sections for superior multi-layer spooling with minimal cable twist. We can either machine grooves directly into your drum or supply removable grooved shells.

Slip Rings allow signals, power , fiberoptics or even hydraulics to pass through the winch cable while the winch is spinning allowing for real time communications or operations to occur during deployment or recovery, even on our subsea winches. InterOcean Systems is proud to offer Focal® Slip Rings with most of our winches, although we do have access to other manufacturers on request.
